Magnesia Carbon Bricks
Magnesia carbon bricks effectively utilize the strong slag corrosion resistance of magnesia and the high thermal conductivity and low expansion of carbon, compensating for the biggest shortcoming of poor spalling resistance of magnesia. They have good high-temperature performance, strong slag resistance, good thermal shock resistance, and a low high-temperature creep rate. They are mainly applied in steel metallurgy converters, ladles, secondary refining furnaces, etc.
